As the world moves towards a low-carbon future, green hydrogen emerges as a key solution for industries seeking to reduce their environmental impact. Produced through electrolysis, using renewable electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, it is a clean, sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. Unlike grey or blue hydrogen, green hydrogen generates zero CO₂ emissions, making it essential for the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries such as steel, chemicals, and heavy transport.

Industries that need high-temperature processes and heavy-duty transport face significant challenges in reducing their carbon footprint, as they still rely on fossil fuels. A versatile and efficient energy carrier, green hydrogen can replace natural gas, diesel, and coal, significantly cutting CO₂ emissions while ensuring energy security, as it can be produced domestically. Green hydrogen can be used directly in fuels cells, or in conventional burners and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
Green hydrogen is also increasingly used to produce Renewable Fuels of Non Biological Origin (RFNBO), such as SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), indispensable for the energy transition of transportation and other sectors that cannot easily electrify, or switch to green hydrogen directly.
Our projects are strategically placed to serve the most critical needs for renewable hydrogen (refineries, chemical plants, steel mills, etc.). They achieve low production costs through a mix of economies of scales, technical optimisation, and competitive renewable power supply. They are also carefully designed to integrate perfectly in the local environmental, industrial, and business ecosystems.
